By working with Tales in Focus Photography, you are prioritizing the story hidden in every photo. Many of life’s fleeting moments pass us by each day, so the goal for every session is to hit the ‘pause button’ so that we may hold a magnifying glass over those stories, providing photos which are everlasting and pleasantly surprise you.

About the Photographer:
My name is Chad, and this humble business is only a realization of the long-standing passion I’ve had for taking pictures. It began several years ago with my incessant use of smartphones, which I finally graduated from during a family trip to Japan where I decided to buy my first camera. Tax-free shops can make a compelling case!
It was also during this trip that I realized—as much as I enjoy the process of photographing people, my favorite moments were their genuine reactions. Capturing a moment my client wouldn’t have experienced otherwise gives me a sense of accomplishment I haven’t been able to replicate elsewhere.
While many photographers more talented than I may obsess over megapixel count, color-grading or dynamic range efficiency, I’m all about telling the story. If I’m responsible for a picture, I want the client to remember the experience therein beyond only seeing where it took place. But I am a perfectionist at heart, so I’ll always strive to deliver the highest quality I’m capable of.
